Bicycles for Humanity Colorado delivers transportation to Africa in the form of donated bikes. 100% of B4H’s proceeds are used to ship donated bikes to rural towns in Africa where there is no means of transportation beyond walking. After donating bikes to mobile healthcare workers, the rest are sold from the retrofitted shipping container - turned local bike shop, providing a boost to the economy of the community.
B4H creates opportunities for African women by enabling transportation for commerce, healthcare and education. B4H also provides entrepreneurial opportunities by hiring and training women as bike mechanics and to manage the bike shops.
For people living on $2 per day, a bicycle is normally far beyond their reach. Most female heads of households lack transportation to access healthcare, economic and educational opportunities for their family. B4H is focused on opening up opportunities for women by giving them much needed transportation and the ability to help provide a better life for their families.

Bicycles for Humanity (B4H)
B4H Colorado began in 2007 to form a bridge of community sharing between the front range of Colorado and healthcare workers serving those in need in Africa. They were inspired by the ability to marry the personal interest of biking of so many Coloradoans and the desire to help those most marginalized in society.
A bicycle, one of the simplest transport technologies, is affordable and can be maintained anywhere in the world with minimal tools and spare parts.
The math becomes simple and a bikie in the hands of a healthcare worker allows them to cover four times the ground than possible on foot. This translates into four times the number of patient visits and four times the number of medication disbursements. The possibilities are endless and we can help fulfill a basic need: to provide a distribution vehicle for improved healthcare for those too remote from formalized healthcare facilities.

Global Education Fund
In 2009, BoldeReach raised funds for the Global Education Fund Leadership Program.
The Program provides poor Kenyan youth, predominantly orphaned girls, with an education both inside and outside of the classroom. It includes: four year high school scholarships; training in critical real-world skills through workshops, retreats and service projects; and a network of support through mentorships with university students, adult coaches and peer support groups.
The Leadership Program is based on the belief that a combination of rigorous academic preparation, practical training and strong relationships will enable participants to reach their full potential and improve the lives of others. The practices that have made GEF successful around the world are reflected throughout the Leadership Program: local community leaders conceived of and manage the day to day work; local civic and business leaders act as advisors; strong partnerships are in place with high schools, the Africa Nazarene University and several non-profits; and careful selection, monitoring and evaluation systems have been implemented.

Urgent Action Fund for Women's Human Rights
Around the world, in conflict zones or where there is political oppression of certain individual rights, women are always in the majority of the oppressed. Often women have been culturally restricted or are in the poorest sectors of the economy and have no power platform from which to effect change. In many countries, when women speak out, they are threatened, marginalized and in some cases killed. UAF focuses their efforts in the toughest terrain for women: areas affected by armed conflict, escalating violence, political volatility and extreme repression.
